Olivia Rose Weir was born on December 27, 2001 in Garnet Valley, PA to Michael and Cheryl Weir. She has an older brother, Andrew. Olivia is a sophomore at Garnet Valley High School and will graduate in 2020. She is currently taking mainly honors classes and has a weighted GPA of 4.94.

Olivia began taking recreational classes at AJS Pancott in 2009 and quickly moved up to the Level 5 competitive team for the 2010-11 season.  As a level 5 gymnast, Olivia placed first in the All-Around at the Silvia Mitova Invitational and first in the All-Around, bars, beam, and floor at the John Pancott Invitational. Olivia was the Level 5 PA State All-Around and Vault Champion in 2011.  Olivia skipped Level 6 and began competing Level 7 for the 2011-12 season.  Olivia placed first in the All-Around, bars, beam, and floor at the John Pancott Invitational, first on bars at the Cancun Classic, and third on vault at the State Championship meet.  In 2012, Olivia moved up to Level 8.  As a Level 8 gymnast, Olivia placed first on vault and bars at the Pink Invitational and finished the season with a fourth place finish on bars at the PA State Championship meet.

As a Level 9 gymnast in 2014, Olivia placed first in the All-Around, vault, and bars at the Sand Dollar Whitlow Invitational.  She finished first on vault and second in the All-Around at the Arizona Grand Invitational and first on vault at the Pink Invitational.  In 2015, Olivia was the Level 9  All-Around, vault, and bars champion at the PA State Championship meet. She placed first on vault, beam, and second in the All-Around at the 2015 Region 7 Championship meet.  At the 2015 Eastern National Championship meet, Olivia was the All-Around and bars champion, and also placed third on vault and sixth on floor.

Olivia competed as a first year level 10 in the 2015-16 season.  At the Starstruck Invitational in Atlantic City, Olivia placed first in the All-Around with a 38.075 while also winning the bars, beam, and floor.  She placed second on vault and third on bars at the Level 10 PA State Championship meet.  At the Region 7 Championship meet, Olivia placed first on bars, second on vault, fourth on floor, and tied for third place in the All-Around.  Olivia qualified for the Level 10 Junior Olympic National Championship meet in Fort Worth, TX where she took fourth place on vault.

Olivia competed as a 2nd year level 10 in the 2016-17 season. At the PA State Championship meet, Olivia placed 1st on vault and beam, 2nd in the All-Around, and 3rd on Floor.  She competed at the Region 7 Championships and finished with a 3rd Place in the All- Around and bars and a 4th place on beam and floor. Olivia qualified for the JO National Championships but, unfortunately, due to an untimely injury, she was not able to compete.

During the 2017-18 season, Olivia competed as a 3rd year level 10. She was both the Pennsylvania State and Region 7 Bar champion. At the state meet, Olivia also placed 3rd in the AA, 3rd on Floor, and 4th on Vault. At her regional meet, she also earned a 4th place finish in the AA and 4th on Vault. Olivia qualified for the JO National Championships for the 3rd straight year where she finished in the top 20 in the AA, beam, and floor.

Currently, Olivia is preparing for the 2018-19 season as a 4th year Level 10 gymnast.  She trains 21 hours per week under coaches Steve Pancott and Casey Rohrbaugh.
